Let me start off by saying that I loved this wedding venue. I just happened to be in the area with some time to kill and I decided to google wedding venues to see what was in the area and the Boojum Tree popped up. At first I thought my map had led me astray, because this place is tucked back at the end of a street, but I saw the ranch style entrance and thought “what is this place that I’ve stumbled upon?” I met Ray(the owner) and Tasha(Director of Events) and they couldn’t have been nicer and just let me roam around and check out the place on my own. This venue is so unique. I can honestly say that I really have no other wedding venue that I could compare it to. It’s refreshing too, with so many cookie cutter venues out there. The Boojum Tree is like an awesome tiki lounge with waterfalls, little nooks, great fountains, and tons of awesome details that one just needs to see for themselves. It also has an indoor reception area in the back that seems more like a greenhouse, complete with a roof that lets in great, diffused light. I desperately want to shoot a wedding here very soon. I just love all of the creative options that this venue offers. I’d love to shoot the wedding of a couple who would choose to have their wedding here. I’ve included some photos below, but the Boojum Tree needs to be seen in person to appreciate it.
